About the Student Government

Wright State University Student Government exists to advocate widely and deeply felt student interests; this is accomplished through lobbying the administration at our University. As designated by the Board of Trustees, the House of Representatives is responsible for officially communicating the collective viewpoint of the student body with regard to any aspect of University policy or operation. The Senate is responsible for appointing students to University committees, to recommend allocations of the student activity funds, to represent student interests and to serve as a conduit of information from the University to the student body. Student Government shall also represent the student body on state and national issues of interest to students.

The Wright State University Student Government holds weekly meetings. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. While email is the preferred method of communication of most Student Government members, please feel free to contact us in any method provided on this website.

The Student Government office is located in 029H Student Union,  (937) 775-5508.
