Samantha Young
My name is Samantha Young and I would love to be the senator for the College of Science and Mathematics because I am an innovative and energetic hard worker! As a junior majoring in Chemistry/ Pre-Med, I have served as an integral part of the CoSM Dean’s Circle, as well as the president of the Pre-Medical Society, the vice president of the Chemistry Club, and the events coordinator for the Biology Club. I am very active on campus and spend a lot of my free time coordinating events and activities for these various student organizations. Having served as a resident assistant on campus for five quarters, I am in touch with the needs of students, and I have what it takes to get the job done in an efficient manner with a smile on my face. After college, I plan to attend medical school and then come back to the local area to benefit the Dayton community. If elected, I plan to increase the amount of already established communication between the College of Science and Mathematics and the rest of the university, to help with the semester transition to the best of my ability, to make the campus a cleaner environment, and to enhance student life as a whole. I’m a team player who is consistent, dedicated, trustworthy, capable, and reliable! I want to thank you for considering me for this position, and I can assure you, if you vote for me, you’ve made the “Wright” choice for CoSM Senator!
