Home > About Us

Wright State University Student Government exists to advocate widely and deeply felt student interests; this will be accomplished through lobbying the administration at our University. As designated by the Board of Trustees, the representative House is responsible to officially communicate the collective viewpoint of the student body with regard to any aspect of university policy or operation. The representative Senate is responsible to appoint students to university committees and other decision making groups, to recommend allocations of the student activities funds, to represent student interests and to serve as a conduit of information from the university to the student body. Student Government shall also represent the student body on state and national issues of interest to students.

The Wright State University Student Government holds weekly meetings, Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., in E157 Student Union. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
