My name is Tory Elizabeth Detty. I was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on February 18, 1988. I have lived in Ohio all of my life and I am currently the Director of Internal Affairs for the 2009-2010 school year. I am a senior this year and will graduate in June. I am majoring in Social Work and upon graduation will hopefully be working in Children Services. I have also involved with the Social Work Club and ADM over the last few years. I have ran track for Wright State University over the last three years as well.
The reason I came to Wright State University was how affordable it is. As well as close to home and I was able to compete in NCAA as a Division I athlete. The main reason I joined Student Government last year was because I wanted to make a difference at the university and be a voice for the students. That has continued into this year and that is why I am back this year to help make a difference for the students on campus.

This year I would like to accomplish many things over the next 10 months. One of the most important accomplishments I believe we can have this year is to work together as a team and to try our hardest to let everyone’s voice be heard. We are here for the students and their needs. I would like to keep the office a professional place where everyone is welcome to come in and feel comfortable about expressing their opinions.
