Hello students of the College of Education and Human Services! My name is Caley O'Connor and I am your 2009-2010 Student Government Senator. I am a junior in the Early Childhood Education program, and after getting my Undergraduate Degree and Teaching Licensee here at Wright State; I plan on going to Graduate School to obtain a Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. My goal is to become a Speech Pathologist, as I would like to work with children who struggle with communication disorders. I love working with kids and I know that if my career involves impacting the life of a child, then I will be happy!
On campus, I am the President of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, a member of Order of Omega Greek Excellence Society, and a student in the University Honor’s Program.
This is my first year on Student Government, and while serving as Senator, I would like to implement a Dean’s Student Advisory Board for the College similar to the boards that other colleges have here at Wright State.
I’m a very approachable and open-minded individual, so if you have any ideas, questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to serving on Student Government and I know that we will have a great year!
