Home > Elizabeth Ash

My name is Elizabeth Ash and I am the new Director of Public Relations for the 2009-2010 academic year. I am a graduate student pursuing a degree in Public History here at Wright State and received my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with a minor in Spanish at Marshall University. Ultimately, I aim to become a professional working in an art museum.
This is my first time being a part of Student Government. I am very excited to be a member of this fine organization. I have a wide range of working experience that encompasses areas such as graphic design, sales, and assisting in the organization of School of Medicine faculty events that I hope will benefit Student Government this year.
My goals for this year include making Homecoming’s Game Night a huge success (mark your calendars: September 29th, 2009 from 9pm to midnight! We’ll have a Halo and Basketball tournament, Guitar Hero, board games, and FREE FOOD!). I would also like to pursue a growing positive image of Student Government. More students need to know what we do and why we are important. We play a very active role in important issues as well as fun events all over campus. Student Government is very dedicated and active in the student community and not many people know this. When people discover just how much we do, it will gain more respect for all the work we do.
